Join veteran journalist and newspaper publisher Ric Oliveira on "Underreported" every week as he digs up and discusses the stories other hosts in the area are too afraid to talk about or simply don't know enough to understand. Controversy, big picture viewpoints in a straight forward call it as he sees it attitude, Oliveira finds the big stories before they explode bringing his internet journalism to the air, distinguishing himself from the "same old, same old talk" radio mantra heard elsewhere.  This has led Underreported to feature some of the best local callers tangling with the blue collar intelectual behind the microphone. Where he goes, no one ever knows, but he takes his listenors for a ride and their loyalty have made Underreported appointment radio. They might not agree with him, but that doesn't stop them from listening and even considering that when he tell the big picture, the fuzzy picture they find elsehwere doesn't add up!

  A voice on WSAR since 1997, Oliveira, who is multilingual, discusses the national and local political scene with enough wit, sarcasm and intelligence to interupt a morning's blah with fits of legendary WSAR origin. When it comes to talking the talk and walking the walk, Oliveira does it all with one of the most entertaining hours of radio heard anywhere!
