Chris Walden
Account Manager/Advertising Consultant

Chris Walden is a 40 year broadcast veteran, having served in numerous Management positions with TV and Radio stations throughout the country as well as Management within the TV News Syndicated Programming field. The majority of Chris' broadcast experience is within the Production/Writing and Directing area. Chris is the recipient of 4 Emmy Awards (Boston-New England and Columbus-Dayton-Cincinnati Chapters of NATAS) as Executive Producer and Program Management of original programming. Chris was also a member of the Board of Governors of the Boston-New England Chapter of the National Academy of TV Arts and Sciences (NATAS) 

Chris served as the Production Manager of WTVN-TV in Columbus, Ohio for four years and then joined WJAR-TV, Providence as Executive Producer of PM Magazine. Chris was promoted to Director of Programming after six months at the station, and served in that capacity for 11 years. Prior to this Chris was a Producer-Director-Writer at WHCT-TV, Hartford (RKO General and Faith Center Broadcasting) and WJZ-TV, Baltimore (Westinghouse Broadcasting-Group W). Chris made a shift to Sales and Marketing in 1991 when he joined NTN-News Travel Network / Preview Travel, Inc., San Francisco as National Sales Manager. NTN produced and marketed news reports (inserts) for stations throughout the US. The reports included the CNET Tech Report. The Quicken.com Financial Report, Dr. Dean Edell's Medical Reports and the nation's first environmental reporting series, The E-Report. NTN grew and evolved into NewsNet Central and was subsequently acquired by Travelocity. After a brief hiatus from the business, Chris joined 99.3 Swing FM in Newport, Rhode Island as the new station's first Sales Manager and Sales Executive. After five years Chris then joined Thomas Industrial Network (ThomasNet publishing-The Thomas Register of Manufacturers) as an Internet Marketing Consultant. In 2005 Chris and his wife formed a business to create, manufacture, market and distribute specialty cremation urns, BearlyGone / Memorabilia Bear, LLC of Bristol, RI, an on-going business venture. Chris was then invited to join the great staff at WSAR in February 2007 and serves in an Advertising-Sales-Marketing capacity.
