WSAR News Headlines

Fall River City Council Member Dan Rego, appearing on the Thursday Edition of "The WSAR Newsroom'' that the only way he would vote for the current municipal and school department budgets would be if current Fall River Mayor Will Flanagan submitted his resignation.

Rego and Flanagan had a sharp exchange during Tuesday's Special City Council Session in Fall River; Council goes back into session at 6pm this afternoon; WSAR has been told by sources that an attempt to send the budget back to the Sixth Floor could happen at some point in the session, but its not clear if there are five votes that would allow that to happen.

The first vote on the budget early Wednesday Morning was 4-4; its not known if the Council Member Linda Pereria could take part either today or Monday, when the final budget session is scheduled, if necessary.
